Biography
Arizona Wes, known as the Sheffield Cowboy, Wes has been pleasing Audiences for the last 25 Years, Wes retired from Solo work in 2018 but has continued to work as a Duo Partner and as Resident Artist , with and for Carolann B on occasional gigs when requested and on Carolann's Breaks and Holidays [SEE Website
Whilst Wes tended to concentrate on Northern Clubs, he did occasionally like to travel to Southern Areas and has worked throughout the UK . Wes is liked by Line Dancers & listeners alike with a varied act that includes many by his favourite artiste Alan Jackson.
Wes prides himself on the fact that he can do a full weekends work without repeating a single song, except of course where his many fans request repeats such as ‘Seven Spanish Angels’ where Wes dons one of his many props to the laughter of his audience, and then of course a full 360 degree turn when you can hear a pin drop as Wes sings and serenades one of the Audience with ‘The Chair’
Of course these and many more of Wes’s favourite songs are currently recorded on the many Albums that Wes has had produced over the years from his early Cd’s like ‘I’m Just A Country Boy’ , and ‘On The Grapevine’ and ‘Country Music in My Blood’ to his 3 latest Albums like ’White Rose’ , ’Your Man’ and ’Your Songs’, and not forgetting his compilation CD with his sometime Duo partner Carolann B, this compilation contains 12 tracks with six from each Artiste and is therefore called ’Six Of The Best’
Carolann has two Duo partners for different events Wes and Carolann now call themselves the ‘White Rose Duo’ to signify that both Artiste come from Yorkshire and both fly the Yorkshire flag denoting the White Rose, hence the name was born.
